Northwest Sunsets and Lots of Library Books

I'm back in Bellingham, Washington (my U.S. home) this week, getting ready to head off for L.A. to hang out with writing and illustrating friends this weekend at a big Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators conference.
I've been enjoying the beautiful Northwest sunsets, fresh raspberries, Mallard Ice Cream (if you are ever going through Bellingham, don't miss it!) and the pretty flowers that seem to be abloom everywhere.
Oh and, besides catching up with folks back home, I'm catching up on my library reading (have I mentioned how much I miss the library in Malaysia?):
This is a little less than half the books I checked out from my mom's account at her library. And well I used her husband's card too. Thanks Mom and Mike!

To anyone else planning on attending the conference, I look forward to seeing you this weekend!
